Groupe PSA has created the Business Lab in response to rapid growth in new car usage trends
The Business Lab is designed to detect, test and transform opportunities into marketable products and services for Groupe PSA, including outside its core automotive market. The Lab’s work is organised into three programmes:
- the Business Innovation Hub, which detects business and technological innovations while promoting interactions with innovative ecosystems worldwide and acting as the main entry point for start-ups;
- the Business Factory, which carries out full-scale experiments of new businesses and new value propositions for customers;
- Venture Development, which facilitates partnerships with innovative start-ups and acquires minority stakes in these businesses, both through venture capital funds and directly.
The Business Lab is interested in a range of key innovation areas including mobility, digital technology, artificial intelligence, smart cities, the circular economy, autonomous and connected vehicles, cleantech and the plant of the future.
