With Japan and South Korea leading the way, India-Pacific is one of the most dynamic regions with the best prospects for Groupe PSA. Sales totalled 26,179 vehicles in 2018, the Group is aiming for a 50% increase by 2021.
Groupe PSA’s success in these markets is based on its shift upmarket, along with a series of successful product launches and an ability to satisfy specific customer expectations, particularly in South Korea and Japan. Prospects for growth in the automotive industry are good, supported by the Group’s subsidiary in Japan and an excellent level of cooperation with importer partners.
In February 2018, Groupe PSA and Malaysia Naza Corporation Holdings established a joint production center in Gurun, Malaysia, the first ASEAN production center for Groupe PSA. In addition, the Group also carries out its other activities in this region, such as Free2Move, EUROREPAR, Used Car, Financial Leasing, etc.
