A graduate of a third HR cycle of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris, Xavier Chéreau joined PSA Peugeot Citroën in 1994. He held various operational functions covering all human resources activities: employment, HR development and social relations. He has been in charge of human resources and social relations of industrial sites of Poissy and Trémery.
In charge of the Groupe Social Responsibility between 2003 and 2006, he carried political diversity and gender equality of the company, as well as the global framework agreement CSR. Over this period, Xavier Chéreau is the origin of the ISM (Higher Institute of Management) development program for future executives of the Groupe. In 2009, he was appointed HR Director of the Industrial Division and Group R&D, including the operational management activities prototypes, classifications and testing resources engineering. Xavier Chéreau, in charge of the Human Resources Development Department and Management of the Top Management since 2013, was appointed Director of Human Resources at Groupe PSA and joined the Groupe Executive Committee in September 2015.
February 1st, 2018, he is entrusted with the management of the transformation of the company with the reporting of the Digital Management, the real estate Management, in addition to the fixed Cost Committee for which he is responsible. Having positioned the Human Resources Department as a strategic business partner, he is thus entrusted with the responsibility of major levers of the Groupe’s transformation.
